Joanne Montagner-Hull, CPA

Joanne has over 30 years of extensive experience improving the profitability and effectiveness of organizations large and small through business process improvement. Her focus is enhancing the connections between soft skills and the expertise of technical and management professionals. Having worked with various types of organizations, from Fortune 500 high-tech firms to the creative staffs of entertainment firms such as Motown Records and Disney, Joanne has established a track record of success through staff and team development, combined with cost control and process effectiveness.

Joanne is a CPA / Consultant, who has owned and operated a firm here in Ohio since 1996.

Before that, she had a similar firm in Southern California, for five years. Previously, she spent six years as a corporate tax specialist, and then branched into private industry as a controller and chief financial officer for another six years. Her training and organizational development programs range from various management topics, to team building, to staff and board development topics, to extensive financial management topics.

Joanne is a CPA in Ohio, and was a CPA in California as well. Joanne has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University. She has taught undergraduate level accounting college courses. She has spoken to technical and professional groups, regionally and nationally. Pat Thomas

Pat Thomas has over 25 years experience with entrepreneurial and not-for-profit businesses in the Greater Cleveland area, focusing on their bookkeeping, accounting and administration requirements. Her in depth business experiences include medical and dental providers, insurance agencies and brokers, law firms, accounting firms, and sales organizations. Her emphasis on strong customer service and profitability consistently provided her with the owner’s or director’s attention and focus. Her clear and friendly style enables her to work with all levels of staff, empowering their skills in the areas of:

Recording keeping
Risk management
Procedural improvement
Administrative organization
File retention, and
Staff development

Pat has worked with the team of Montagner and Associates / Your Bean Counters since 1997. Pat attended Kent State University.

Adam R. Miller

Adam Miller has over 8 years experience in the accounting industry specifically in real estate and most recently in not-for-profit businesses. His ability to quickly grasp new accounting software and practices has enabled him to smoothly transition from one client’s needs to the next. Adam’s business experience has included residential and commercial real estate, manufacturing, CPA firms, and not-for-profit businesses throughout the Greater Cleveland Area. Adam approaches each client as if he is actually on staff, which has allowed him to work well with a wide array of staff members. The areas that he has helped each client improve include, but are not limited to:

Account coding and bookkeeping

Adam joined Your Bean Counters in January 2009 and graduated from Ohio Northern University.

Jennifer E. Bruce

Jennifer has over 15 years of customer service experience. She meets the needs of every client in a timely and professional manner. Jennifer has the ability to adapt to the varying degrees of each of our client’s needs. Jennifer’s position with Your Bean Counters is Office Administrator. Her current responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintains the company’s daily accounting records
Monthly time and billing for YBC
Handles human resource functions for YBC
Smoothly runs the day-to-day operations of YBC
Has grown into the role of bookkeeper for not only YBC, but also several of our clients; which includes monthly bank reconciliations, accounts payables and receivables

Jennifer joined Your Bean Counters in February of 2008. She is currently working towards her accounting degree.
